Your guide to the top attractions Dubai has to offer

Dubai is a city with something for everyone. Here you can find information about some of the most popular attractions available in Dubai today. From theme parks to museums, you will find something to occupy your time when you have finished with the beaches and shopping in Dubai!

Wild Wadi

Located next door to the famous Jumeirah Beach Hotel on Dubai's premier beach strip, the famous Wild Wadi Water Park is a great family day out. With a range of exciting water slides and rides, along with plenty of sunbathing areas and food courts, there is enough going on at Wild Wadi to spend the entire day.

Guests staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel itself benefit from complimentary access to the park, while residents of the other Jumeirah International Hotels such as Madinat, Emirates Towers, and Burj Al Arab can all enjoy reduced rates and priority access to Wild Wadi.

The park is busiest on Fridays and Saturdays- the local weekend, and queues can get quite long, so try and make your visit during the week.

Indoor Skiing

Ski Dubai at the enormous Mall of the Emirates shopping centre is the third largest indoor ski slope in the world. With a length of more than 400 metres, and a range of slopes to test all abilities, the facility has been incredibly popular since it opened in 2005.

A full day pass to the ski slopes costs from around £35 per person and includes ski rental and appropriate clothing. Lessons are available at an extra charge.

Dubai Museum

In less than 50 years, Dubai has gone from being a quiet pearl fishing town on the fringes of the gulf to being one of the most important business cities in the world, and a cosmopolitan tourist destination.

Most of this transformation has been carried out through investment of oil revenues and guided by the ambition of ruler Sheikh Mohammed. Visitors to Dubai keen to see just how much the city has changed, and also to get a glimpse into the future should make tracks for the Dubai Museum on the banks of the creek.

Featuring a range of interactive exhibits and plenty to keep visitors amused and interested, the museum is a great place to spend a few hours learning more about Dubai and it's unique culture.
